African Museum Ireland is the first of its kind in Ireland Republic. In view of increase in the population of Africans in Ireland, it is important to provide a place that showcases their heritage and culture. A project of this nature has economic, social, cultural and political benefits and can help facilitate integration amongst other positive results. Principally, African Museum Ireland is aimed at promoting African culture through information, exhibition, shows and public engagement.
